Consuelo Documentary
Post-Production Supervisor
Consuelo is a compelling feature documentary about the remarkable impact of the Gray Sisters on a Dominican community, turning limited resources into a model of educational excellence. My company led the production, and as a silent producer and post-production supervisor, I played a crucial role in shaping the film, from crafting the narrative in editing to serving as a liaison between creative intent and execution. This work highlights the resilience and determination of people striving for progress.
Hilliard Lamps
Producer
We spent time with lamp manufacturer Hilliard Lamps in the cozy town of Arcata California. We set out to document the story behind the 40 year anniversary of this one of a kind shop. What we found behind the lamps was a family business, a small group of dedicated artisans, and a genuine love story.
People's Theatre
Director
In the summer of 2014, Mino Lora, Co-Executive and Program Director of People's Theatre Project, traveled to Dominican Republic to facilitate a one week Theatre of The Oppressed workshop with at-risk youth from San José De Los Llanos. Over the course of three all-day rehearsals the participants created original plays, based on their real life experiences, that were presented in an interactive "forum theatre" format at a theatre at Bellas Artes in Santo Domingo as part of the International Theatre Festival. People's Theatre Project is a theatre and social justice group based in Washington Heights, NY. PTP.nyc
